A winters day out

Today we decided to take a drive to where the rose would take us...

We stopped at Gravelly Beach park. This was once a fabulous wooden pirate ship playground that has recently been removed & replaced with a huge new playground and skate park. The boys were very excited to explore a new area.

Back into the car we drove to Paper Beach. The weather was perfect for July, the water was still and the reflections amazing.

We spent forever exploring the sand, throwing rocks into the water & digging for tressure. Angus took delight in making X's in the sand and making us dig!!

The next drive was a relaxing and longer one just exploring. Angus relaxed and told us about the sights out his window. Whilst Max had a nap.

We wound our way to Beauty Point where we enjoyed fish and chips for lunch with the seagulls. We finished lunch just as the rain started!
